Where flights, multi-day trips, and private guides make the difference

What unites these offers is rarely a larger program on the plateau. It is something you buy in addition: a guide just for your travel group, a flight instead of a bus, or a multi-day trip instead of a single morning.

The duration shows this most clearly: the median is 48 hours, i.e., two full days, far more than a trip to the pyramids normally requires. If you want to spend just a few hours at the foot of the pyramids and pay little for it, you are in the wrong place here. If you are looking for a private guide, a flight past the Red Sea, or a multi-day package, you will find most of the entire inventory in this group.

Why the number can reach four digits

Within the group, the largest field lies between 200 and 500 euros, 58 of the 127 offers. Next are 38 between 100 and 200 euros and 31 over 500 euros. The median of all entry prices is 258 euros, the highest value is 4,262 euros.

The large gap between bottom and top is mainly due to the duration of the trip, not more stops on the plateau.
