What the price covers and what is added on site
The tour costs from €334. Included in the sum are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and hotel pickup. The site ticket has an official value of 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11; the provider covers this amount, you do not pay it at the ticket office. At the Gate: Opening Hours, Card Payment, Shuttle
For the plateau, the official website lists opening hours from eight to sixteen; an official PDF from 2020 deviates, listing seven to seventeen. The ticket office closes one hour before the site. Payment there is card only, not cash; cash is still useful for small expenses. Since the 2025 reorganization, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau; visitors take the electric shuttle or walk. The main entrance is now the Great Gate on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road; it replaces the old gate at Mena House. The Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket office.
Who This Is Right For and Who It Isn't
This tour is right for travelers who plan two full days for the pyramids and want to book the excursion as a private tour. If you want to join a small group, you won't find it here; the operator does not offer a small group for this trip. It is less suitable if only one day is available.
