Most valuable to us are tips from people who have just been on site. The site has been under renovation since 2025, entrances and paths are changing, and we sometimes learn things more reliably from travelers than from any source we can check. If you found something different from what is described here, please write to us.

What tips help us most

Four types of tips are especially helpful because they concern details that are nowhere reliably published. First: which burial chambers were open on the day of your visit. Second: how the barriers around the Sphinx and on the south side of the Great Pyramid have been laid out since the renovation. Third: whether the electric shuttle vehicles can be boarded without steps, which decides the whole visit for guests in wheelchairs. And fourth: what was actually demanded and sold at the ticket counter. If you can contribute something on any of these points, it helps not only us but everyone who reads these pages after you.

For content-related tips, corrections and questions about a specific page, email is the right way because a matter can be documented there in a traceable manner. Please name the page in question and, if possible, the date of your visit on site. Both help us to check a detail specifically instead of searching for it.

For press inquiries and for anything that needs to be faster, the phone numbers are given. The address in Frankfurt am Main is our business address.

For offers from providers: we gladly accept tips about factual errors in the description of an offer and check them like any other tip. Whether an offer is included depends solely on whether it fits what is shown on the respective page. We do not respond to paid posts, guest posts or paid links.

One restriction so that nobody wastes time: we are not a tour operator and not an agent. We cannot book tickets, change bookings, cancel bookings or give information about an order you placed with a provider. In these cases, please contact the provider you booked with directly; only they have your data and only they can change something. The same applies to questions about the site itself, such as tickets, opening hours or access: the Egyptian antiquities authority is responsible, not us.
