What the entry price covers and what is added at the plateau
The entry price is 379 euros; this makes the tour the most expensive of the nine pyramid tours from Port Said. Their price range goes from 85 to 379 euros. Included in the price are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, a lunch, and hotel pickup. The site ticket officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds, around 11 euros; the provider covers this amount with the entry price. It covers the grounds and includes the electric shuttles on the plateau, but not the interiors. For the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the official authority charges 1,000 Egyptian pounds, around 16 euros; you pay this amount on site. Whether the interior access is included in the entry price is left open by the provider. The booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. Tipping is customary in Egypt and is not a surcharge for special service.

Opening Hours, Card Payment, and Access to the Plateau
The official opening hours differ: the website says 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., another official source says 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the ticket office is by card only; cash is not accepted. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025. Electric shuttles run between stops; they stop at the three pyramids, the panoramic point, and the Sphinx. The main entrance has been the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum since 2025. The Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office.
Who Should Book This Tour and Who Shouldn't
This tour suits travelers looking for a guide-led two-day excursion and who are comfortable with one of the mentioned languages. The operator offers tours in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, or Italian; a German-speaking tour is not listed. If you expect German, you should choose the twelve-hour tour "Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Papyrus Institute" from Port Said, which lists a German-speaking guide.
