Twelve Hours from Port Said to the Giza Plateau
The day trip by Ramses tours starts in Port Said; departure is scheduled for 8 am. It is planned for twelve hours and takes you to the Giza Plateau. It is 211 kilometers by road, and the one-way trip takes about two and a half hours. On the plateau, you will see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three, the Pyramid of Khafre with its upper casing, and the Pyramid of Menkaure with its granite layers from Aswan. You will also see the Great Sphinx and the viewpoints between the structures. The Sphinx is carved from the bedrock, not built; you stand on the terrace above, not beside its paws. The visit to the Great Pyramid of Khufu is an exterior visit. The tour is conducted in English.

What the price includes and which tickets remain separate at the gate
The offer can be booked from €103. Included in the price are hotel pickup in Port Said and the site ticket for the Giza Plateau. This ticket officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11; the provider covers this amount. The site ticket does not entitle you to enter the pyramid interiors. For the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the official price is 1,000 Egyptian pounds (about €16), for the Pyramid of Menkaure 280 Egyptian pounds. Whether these interior tickets are included in the package price is left open by the provider; he also says nothing about lunch. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before. In Egypt, tipping is customary, but not a surcharge for special service.
