Price, included services, and official fees at the gate
The entry price starts at €345. What the provider does for this price is largely left open: it says nothing about the plateau area ticket, the interior of a pyramid, or lunch. Hotel pickup is explicitly not included. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. At the plateau ticket office, official entrance fees are due on the day: the area ticket for 700 Egyptian pounds (about €11), the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu for 1,000 pounds (about €16), and the interior of the Pyramid of Menkaure for 280 pounds. At the Great Gate: card payment, ticket office closing time, and electric shuttle
At the Great Gate, which has replaced the old gate at the Mena House since 2025, only card payments are accepted. The Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office. The ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. The official website lists opening hours from 8 am to 4 pm, while an official PDF from 2020 lists 7 am to 5 pm instead. Private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau since the 2025 reorganization; visitors take the electric shuttle, whose ride is included in the site ticket.
