Included is the ticket for the plateau, not the view inside
The price from Snefro Travel includes the area ticket for the Giza Plateau and hotel pickup; nothing more is due at the ticket office. Officially, that is 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11, an amount the provider covers for you. Not included are the interior of a pyramid and lunch. If you want to go into the Great Pyramid of Khufu, you pay an additional 1,000 Egyptian pounds on site, about €16, at the exchange rate of 59.14 pounds per euro as of September 3, 2026. Regarding the camel ride, which is in the name of the tour, there is no information on price or duration. Tipping is customary and not a surcharge for special service.

The official opening time of the plateau is, according to the website, 08:00 to 16:00, while an older official PDF from 2020 states 07:00 to 17:00; the information contradicts itself. In any case, the ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes.
For a tour that lasts four to eight hours depending on the booked variant, this makes a difference: for the shorter variant, there is less buffer if the ticket office closes earlier than expected. Three things specifically affect this day. First: at the ticket office, payment is only by card, which matters for a tour that explicitly does not include the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, so you pay this extra amount yourself at the ticket office if you want it.
Second: Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed onto the plateau. The driver who picked you up from your hotel will take you to the edge, and from there you continue on the electric shuttle, which is included in the site ticket. Third: the ticket office closes one hour before the site itself, which becomes relevant when the upper limit of eight hours for this day is considered if you start late.
Good for private flexibility, less so for lunch and the museum
This tour fits if you value a private guide more than a fixed price with lunch: no queuing, hotel pickup, your own guide instead of a group of strangers. It does not fit if you rely on a German-speaking guide, because the provider only offers English, and also not if you use a wheelchair, as the provider classifies the tour as unsuitable.
