What the price includes and what is added at the gate
The entry price starts at 437 euros. Included are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, hotel pickup, and the accompaniment of a live guide. A German-speaking tour is indicated. For the site ticket, the provider covers the official 700 Egyptian pounds, around 11 euros; this amount is not charged again at the ticket office. The interior of a pyramid is explicitly not included. At the gate: card payment, shuttle, and two opening times
The ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. The official website states opening hours of 8 am to 4 pm; an older official source says 7 am to 5 pm. Payment at the counter is card-only; cashless sales have been in effect since 2023. Private vehicles have not been allowed since 2025. If you don't walk, use the electric shuttle; it's included in the site ticket and stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx.
For overnight travellers, not for pyramid-interior fans
This is a good fit if you want to give the pyramids more time than a single day allows and plan to stay overnight. The tour cannot be booked privately and is not intended as a small group; if you expect that, you're mistaken. If you plan to visit the interior of a pyramid, you won't find it here.
