This tour starts in Hurghada and picks you up in the middle of the night: the pickup window is between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m., because the Giza Plateau is 473 road kilometers away, and the bus takes about six hours each way. What is in 65 euros, and what comes as an add-on
The entry price is from 65 euros. Nice Tours explicitly includes the area ticket for the Giza Plateau, plus lunch and hotel pickup. Officially, the area ticket is 700 Egyptian pounds; at the exchange rate of September 3, 2026, 59.14 pounds per euro, that is about 11 euros, and this amount is already covered in the price of 65 euros, so nothing of it is due again at the gate.
Not included is the interior of one of the three pyramids: it can only be added as an add-on, never as a fixed part of the price. Officially, access to the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu alone costs 1,000 Egyptian pounds, about 16 euros, payable on site by card. With this division, the tour is not alone: eleven of the 36 offers in the category treat the pyramid interior the same way, as an add-on rather than an inclusion.

Summer heat on a long drive
The chart above shows Hurghada between a high of 22°C in January and up to 38°C in August; from June to August the high is consistently above 35°C. Because the drive to the plateau alone takes six hours each way, the early pickup window shifts the arrival to the morning, before the strongest midday heat. In the winter months of December to February, with highs of 22 to 24°C, the same long drive matters less, because the afternoon hours on the barely shaded site remain bearable then.

In any case, the ticket booth closes one hour before the stated end time. If you pay at the booth, you need a card, as staff do not accept cash. Since the 2025 reorganization, private vehicles are no longer allowed onto the plateau; the bus from this tour drops you off before it, and you continue on the electric shuttle, which is included in the site ticket and stops at the three pyramids and the Sphinx.
