Payment at the ticket office is by card only, not cash. Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau; the electric shuttle, with stops at the three pyramids, the panoramic viewpoint, and the Sphinx, is covered by the site ticket. The Egyptian Museum is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; there, too, the ticket office closes one hour before closing, at 4:00 PM.
