One Day by Plane: Hurghada, the Giza Plateau, and Back
Instead of the 473 road kilometers and about six hours each way, this tour takes the route via the airport: the flight from Hurghada to Cairo takes about 60 minutes. The operator is FTS Travelss, traveling in a small group rather than privately. The program leads to the three pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. The tour is guided live, explicitly in German among seven languages, and you won't stand in the regular queue at the ticket offices. The provider rates the day as unsuitable for wheelchair users.

What is included in the price, and the one point you should know beforehand
From €219, the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and hotel pickup are explicitly included. The official site ticket costs 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11 at the exchange rate of 59.14 pounds per euro, as of September 3, 2026, and this amount is already part of the price. The interior of a pyramid is not part of the basic program, but can be booked additionally with this provider; officially, access to the Great Pyramid of Khufu costs 1,000 Egyptian pounds, about €16. The most important point concerns the booking itself: this provider does not offer free cancellation. That is the exception, not the rule, because 251 of 252 offers in the entire inventory grant a free period. Check the conditions carefully before booking.

For a full-day excursion that spends a significant part on the shade-poor Giza Plateau, the months December to February with maximum values between 22 and 24 degrees are the most tolerable time. March, April, October, and November lie in between with 26 to 32 degrees maximum and remain quite bearable in the morning.
