A twelve-hour day from Alexandria to the Pyramids, Museum and Coptic Cairo
You start in Alexandria and are on the road for twelve hours. Sun Pyramids Tours takes you to the Giza Plateau and the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir. On the plateau you will see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure, the Sphinx and the viewpoints in between. The Sphinx is carved from the bedrock, not built. In the museum, the statues of the three pyramid builders are the stop that belongs to this excursion; Tutankhamun and the royal mummies have moved out. The title of the excursion also mentions Coptic Cairo, but the provider leaves open what will be visited there and how much time remains. What the price includes and what may be added on the day
The entry price is given as "from 191 euros". Included are hotel pickup in Alexandria, lunch, the live guide and the site ticket for the Giza Plateau. The site ticket officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11; the provider covers this amount for you. Regarding the interiors of a pyramid, the provider says nothing. If you wish to visit an interior, the Great Pyramid of Khufu officially costs 1,000 EGP, around €16, the Pyramid of Menkaure 280 EGP. Whether the entrance to the Egyptian Museum is included is also not stated; the official ticket costs 550 EGP for foreign adults, 275 EGP for foreign students, and the audio guide 75 EGP. Tipping is customary in Egypt, but not a surcharge for special service.

At the Gate: Great Gate, card payment, ticket office closes one hour earlier
Since the 2025 reorganization, the path to the Giza Plateau leads through the Great Gate. Private vehicles are no longer allowed on the site; you take the electric shuttle, which stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. The plateau's opening hours are given as 8 am to 4 pm, another source says 7 am to 5 pm. You should plan for the ticket office closing one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the ticket counter is by card only, not cash; if you go to the Sphinx entrance, there is no ticket counter there. At the Egyptian Museum, the ticket office is open until 4 pm, the museum until 5 pm.
Who this group tour suits and who it doesn't
The tour is suitable if you want to start from Alexandria with a group and use a tour designated as wheelchair accessible. If you start your day at the port of Alexandria, the twelve-hour alternative "Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Bazaar" from €85 is a cheaper option. This excursion is not the right choice if you want to go inside a pyramid; in that case, the eight-hour tour "Experience the Great Pyramid of Giza (Khufu's Pyramid)" from €73 is a better comparison. A private or small-group request cannot be booked here.
