The entry price starts at €213. Included are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, hotel pickup, and the guide's services. At the Gate: Opening Hours, Ticket Office Closing, and Shuttle
The Giza Plateau is open from 8 am to 4 pm. An older official source differs, stating 7 am to 5 pm. The ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. Since 2023, only card payments are accepted at the ticket office; cash is not accepted. Still, you should carry some cash for small expenses. Private vehicles have not been allowed onto the plateau since 2025; visitors are transported by an electric shuttle, the ride of which is included in the admission price. Since 2025, the main entrance has been the Great Gate on the desert road between Cairo and Fayoum; the former gate at the Mena House has been replaced.
