The entry price is €151. Included are hotel pickup in Alexandria, lunch, and a guided tour by a tour leader; German is specified as the guide language. At the Gate: Card Payment, Shuttle, and Opening Hours
Since 2025, the Great Gate on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road has been the main entrance to the Giza Plateau. The Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket counter. At the ticket counter, only card payment is accepted; it closes one hour before the gate closes. The official website lists opening hours as 8 am to 4 pm, while an older official PDF deviates with 7 am to 5 pm. Private vehicles are not allowed onto the plateau; an electric shuttle is included in the site ticket and connects the pyramids, a panoramic point, and the Sphinx. The Grand Egyptian Museum has been accessible only with a pre-booked time slot since mid-November 2025; the galleries are open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, on Wednesdays and Saturdays until 9 pm, with last entry one hour before closing.
