From your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh to the Giza Plateau
This day trip by Sharm club travel starts in Sharm El Sheikh and takes you by plane to Cairo; the flight time is 60 minutes. What is included in the entry price and what costs extra
The entry price starts at 254 euros. With this, the provider pays for your area ticket to the Giza Plateau; the official price is 700 Egyptian pounds, around 11 euros. Also included are lunch, hotel pickup, and a live guide who speaks English or Russian. From April it becomes noticeably warmer with 30 degrees. The hottest period is from May to September, when maximum temperatures climb to 34 to 38 degrees; in the months June to August, minimum temperatures only drop to 26 to 28 degrees. At the Great Gate: Ticket Office Closing, Card Payment, and Electric Shuttle
At the Great Gate, the main entrance on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road, the ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. The new main entrance replaces the old gate at Mena House; the Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office. Payment at the counter is by card only, not cash; you'll need cash at most for tips and small purchases. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025, and the electric shuttle is included in the admission price. The authorities' information is contradictory: the website states 08:00 to 16:00, while an older official source states 07:00 to 17:00.
