What the price includes and what the provider leaves open

At the Gate: Map, Shuttle, and Varying Opening Hours
Since the 2025 reorganization, private vehicles are no longer allowed onto the Giza Plateau; you take the electric shuttle or walk. The shuttle stops at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment there is by card only, not cash; cash is still useful for tips and small expenses. The official opening hours are 08:00 to 16:00; an alternative official figure is 07:00 to 17:00. Since 2025, the main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road between Cairo and Fayoum.
Who This Tour Is For and Which Alternative Fits Better
This tour is right for you if you plan two days for the plateau and don't want to shorten your stay there to a few hours. It is explicitly not suitable if you only have one day for Cairo or don't want to undertake the long journey from Sharm El Sheikh twice. If you rely on a wheelchair, the tour is not suitable according to the provider.
