What the price from €103 covers and what is added at the gate
The entry price is €103. This includes the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and hotel pickup. The site ticket officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11; the provider covers this amount for you, so you do not pay it extra. What is actually added on the day is the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu: the official authority charges 1,000 Egyptian pounds, around €16, to be paid on site. Also official is the interior visit of the Pyramid of Menkaure at 280 Egyptian pounds; this ticket also comes in addition to the site ticket. From May, the highs climb to 32 degrees and more; in June, July, and August they stay at 35 degrees, and the lows rarely drop below 22 degrees at night. Since the tour takes place in the middle of the day and the site offers little shade, the months from November to March are best suited. In April and October, the highs are already noticeable at 28 and 30 degrees respectively, but still bearable. From May to September, you should take advantage of the early morning before the heat reaches its peak.

At the Gate, Cards Count, Not Cash
At the Giza Plateau, the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. Payment there is card only; cash has not been accepted since 2023, so you only need cash for tips and small purchases. Private vehicles have not been allowed onto the plateau since 2025; instead, an electric shuttle takes you to the stops: Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. The shuttle is included in the admission price. Access is via the Great Gate on the Cairo–Fayoum desert road; the old gate at Mena House has been replaced, and the Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket counter.

This tour is right for travelers who appreciate complete organization: hotel pickup, lunch, and guiding all in one, plus a price that already includes the site ticket. It is less suitable if you expect a German-speaking guide; none is specified.
