What is included in the price and which items are added on the plateau
The entry price is from €1,466. Included are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and the English-speaking live guide. The site ticket officially costs 700 EGP, about €11; Ramses tours has already covered this amount in the package. The provider does not mention hotel pickup. It also says nothing about the interior of a pyramid. The site ticket does not cover the interiors. Officially, the interior of Khufu is 1,000 EGP, about €16, and the interior of Menkaure is 280 EGP; if you want to see these interiors, you must plan them separately on the day. Tipping is customary in Egypt, but it is not listed here as a special surcharge. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start.

When the seven days are most likely to fit
Based on Cairo's monthly temperatures, June to August is the hot season: daytime highs reach 35°C, and at night it only cools down to 24°C. If you visit the plateau during the day then, you'll have hardly any shade. Milder months are December to February with daytime highs of 19–20°C and nighttime lows of 10–12°C. April, May, September, and October fall in between with highs of 28–33°C. For the visit, the daily maximum matters, because you'll be sightseeing during daylight hours. The values are long-term outdoor averages, not a forecast.

At the Gate: Card Payment, Shuttle, and Changing Opening Hours
At the Giza Plateau, you can only pay by card at the ticket office, not cash; cash is still needed for tips and small purchases. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. The official website lists the site's hours as 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while an older official overview lists 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Since the 2025 reorganization, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau; if you don't walk, you use the electric shuttle, whose ride is included in the entrance fee. Since 2025, the main entrance is the Great Gate on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road; the Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket counter. The tour itself is marked as "skip the line."
