What the price includes and what is added at the plateau
The €1,993 covers hotel pickup in Cairo, the accompaniment by a tour guide, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Explicitly not included is the area ticket for the Giza Plateau. At the Great Gate: opening hours, card payment, shuttle
At the Great Gate, the main entrance since 2025 in southwest Cairo, these rules apply: The opening time is officially given differently, once from 08:00 to 16:00, once from 07:00 to 17:00. The ticket counter closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the counter is only by card, not cash. Private vehicles are no longer allowed onto the plateau since 2025; the electric shuttle is included in the site ticket and stops at the three pyramids, the panorama point, and the Sphinx. The Sphinx Gate is also open but has no ticket sales.
