What the price includes and what the interior costs
The starting price is from €325. The provider explicitly includes the site ticket for the Giza Plateau; for this ticket, it covers the official amount of 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11. Also included are lunch, hotel pickup, and the accompaniment of a guide. The site ticket does not cover the interiors of the pyramids. Regarding an interior, the provider says nothing; the official amounts are: 1,000 EGP, around €16, for the Great Pyramid of Khufu and 280 EGP for the Pyramid of Menkaure. Heat throughout the year: How to read the chart
The chart shows the daily maximum and minimum temperatures for Luxor over the year. From November to February, the maximum values range between 23 and 29 degrees, and the minimum values between 7 and 13 degrees. In March, 30 degrees are reached, in April 35, and in May and September 39 degrees. From June to August, the maximum values remain at 41 degrees; during these months, it only cools down to 25 to 26 degrees at night. There is hardly any shade on the plateau. For a day on the site, the upper curve matters, for the night the lower one. The values are normal outdoor values and not a forecast for your travel day.

At the Gate: Card Payment, Ticket Office Closing, Shuttle
The Giza Plateau opens at 8 am according to the official website and closes at 4 pm; an official PDF from 2020 states 7 am to 5 pm instead. The ticket office closes one hour before the site. Payment at the counter is by card only, not cash. Private vehicles are no longer permitted since the 2025 reorganization; you reach the plateau via the electric shuttle or on foot. The main entrance has been the Great Gate on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road since 2025; the Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket counter.
Who This Tour Suits and When the Day Trip by Flight Makes Sense
This tour is right for you if you want to join a small group and value a German-speaking guide. It is expressly not suitable for wheelchair users or travelers expecting a private tour, as private booking is not possible.
