What is included in the price and what is added on site
The entry price starts at 94 euros. Included are the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, hotel pickup, and the accompaniment of a live guide. The site ticket officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds; at the exchange rate of 59.14 EGP per euro, that is about 11 euros. The provider covers this amount; it is not added at the ticket office. Ticket office closing, card payment, and opening hours
At the Great Gate, the main entrance in the southwest on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road, the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. Payment is by card only, not cash. The official website lists opening hours as 08:00 to 16:00; a second official source differs with 07:00 to 17:00. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025; the electric shuttle stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx and is included in the admission. The Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket counter.
