Whether the site ticket for the Giza Plateau and the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu are included in the price is left open by the provider; they say nothing about it. Great Gate, ticket office closing time, and shuttle: the rules at the plateau
The main entrance is called the Great Gate and lies on the desert road between Cairo and Fayoum; the old gate at Mena House has been replaced. The Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket counter. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes and only accepts cards. The official opening hours are 08:00 to 16:00; an older publication states 07:00 to 17:00. Private vehicles have been banned since 2025; you reach the pyramids via the electric shuttle, which is included in the site ticket, or on foot.
