What the entry price includes and what the plateau costs
The entry price starts at €267. This places the tour at rank 92 of 126 pyramid tours from Cairo, i.e., in the most expensive 27 percent of the group. Included are hotel pickup, lunch, and the English-speaking guide. The area ticket for the Giza Plateau is explicitly not included; for foreign adults it officially costs 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11. Whether a pyramid interior is part of the program is left open by the provider. If you visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu inside, you pay officially 1,000 EGP, about €16; the interior visit to the Pyramid of Menkaure costs 280 EGP. Only 14 other offers in the category also explicitly state that the area ticket is not included.

At the Gate: Ticket Office Closes, Card Only, No Private Vehicles
The official website lists the Giza Plateau opening hours as 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; an official PDF from 2020 specifies 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the counter is card only, not cash; cashless sales have been in effect since 2023. Cash is still useful, for example for tips and small purchases. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025. The site ticket includes the electric shuttle; its stops are Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx.
