From Alexandria Port to the Sphinx and Pyramids in Two Days

What the entry price includes and what the interiors officially cost
The entry price starts at €232. Included services are the area ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, hotel pickup, and the accompaniment of a live guide. The area ticket officially costs 700 EGP, about €11; since it is included, you will not pay this amount again at the ticket office. What the provider leaves open are the interiors: the Khufu interior officially costs 1,000 EGP (about €16), and the interior visit to the Menkaure Pyramid costs 280 EGP. What applies at the gate: ticket windows, cards, and the electric shuttle
The site is open from 8 am to 4 pm according to the current information; ticket sales end one hour before. An older source says 7 am to 5 pm, so if you arrive late, don't rely on the longer version. Payment at the ticket window is by card only, not cash; cash is only needed for tips and small purchases. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025. Visitors take the electric shuttle, which is included in the admission price, or walk. The main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum; the Sphinx Gate is open but does not sell tickets.
Two days in Giza or the German-speaking alternative
This tour is right if you plan two days for the Giza Plateau and don't mind an overnight stay in between. It is not right if you expect a designated German-speaking guide.
