Sun Pyramids Tours names a starting price of €1,035 for the four days. Explicitly included are hotel pickup and the accompaniment of a live guide; a German-speaking guide is specified. The official website lists the plateau's hours as 08:00 to 16:00; an older official source says 07:00 to 17:00. The information is contradictory. What is certain: the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes, and payment at the window is by card only, not cash. Private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau since the 2025 reorganization; an electric shuttle is included in the site ticket. The main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum; the Sphinx Gate is open but has no ticket office.
