Price and official tickets: what is included in the amount and what is extra on the plateau
The entry price starts at €3,757. This makes the tour one of the most expensive two percent of the 126 pyramid offers from Cairo. Explicitly included are lunch, hotel pickup, and an on-site guide. The provider lists eight languages, including German. Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before. What else the entry price covers is not stated; nor does it say whether it covers the plateau site ticket and the interiors. At the Gate: Card Payment, Shuttle, and the Ticket Office That Closes an Hour Early
The Giza Plateau is listed as open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; another official source says 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes, and payment is by card only. Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau; the electric shuttle is included in the entrance fee. It stops at the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, at the panoramic viewpoint, and at the Sphinx. The main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road between Cairo and Fayoum; it replaces the old gate at Mena House.
