What is included in the price and what is added on the day

At the Giza Plateau: opening hours, card payment, shuttle
The opening hours for the Giza Plateau are given as 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; an older figure is 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The information is contradictory. The ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the counter is by card only; cash is not accepted there. Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau. Visitors reach the pyramids, the Sphinx, and the viewpoints via the electric shuttle, which is included in the site ticket, or on foot. The shuttle stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx.
