Three Days in Cairo from Hurghada

What applies to access to the plateau
According to the official website, the site is open from 8 am to 4 pm; an official PDF from 2020 states 7 am to 5 pm instead. If you need a ticket, you must get it one hour before closing, as sales end then. Payment at the counter is by card only. Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed onto the plateau; if you don't walk, you use the electric shuttle. Its ride is included in the site ticket. The main entrance has been the Great Gate on the desert road since 2025.
Who should take this tour and who shouldn't
Suitable for travelers who have three days to spare for Cairo and want to go with a group; private booking is not possible.
