What is included in the price, and what you book separately
From €31, this tour is among the cheapest in its category; the site ticket for the Giza Plateau and hotel pickup are explicitly included. The official site ticket costs 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11 at the exchange rate of 59.14 pounds per euro as of September 3, 2026, and is already part of this price. Lunch, on the other hand, can only be added as an add-on, not in the base price. The provider says nothing about the interior of a pyramid, as do 36 of the other 42 offers in this category. For Saqqara, there is a separate ticket structure with up to seven individual tickets for the site, the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the noble tombs, Mereruka, the South Tomb, and the Serapeum, which is not covered by the Giza ticket. When the heat hits
This diagram above this section shows temperatures in Cairo, the nearest official station, because Giza itself does not keep its own measurement series. If you extend the tour to include Dahshur and the felucca ride to eight hours, you will spend correspondingly more time outdoors, which is significant from June to August with highs around 33 to 35 degrees. The months December to February with highs between 19 and 20 degrees are noticeably better suited for the longer variant.
