What's in the price and what you still pay at the gate
From €40, hotel pickup is explicitly included. The area ticket for the Giza Plateau is not part of the base price; it can only be added as an add-on. The official price is 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11 at the exchange rate of 59.14 pounds per euro, as of September 3, 2026, and can only be paid by card. This breakdown is the exception among the 43 offers from Giza: only one other offer in the group treats the area entry as an add-on rather than an inclusion. The interior of a pyramid is explicitly not included. Visiting the interior of the Great Pyramid of Khufu costs an additional 1,000 Egyptian pounds, around €16. Starting at sunrise will get you ahead of the hottest hours of the day anyway, which is especially valuable in the months June to August with highs around 35 degrees. The plateau remains more pleasant in the months November to March, when highs are between 19 and 25 degrees and even the five hours after departure do not run into oppressive heat.
