Five Hours Between the Giza Plateau and Tahrir Square

What the entry price includes and what remains open
The entry price starts at €81, making it one of the most expensive 26 percent of offers in this category. Explicitly included are hotel pickup in Giza, lunch, and the site ticket for the Giza Plateau. Only 13 other offers in the same category include lunch. What applies at the plateau ticket office
At the Giza Plateau, the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. The official website lists the site as open from 08:00 to 16:00; a second official source says 07:00 to 17:00. Payment at the ticket office is by card only, not cash. Private vehicles have not been allowed since 2025; on the plateau you ride the electric shuttle, whose ride is included in the site ticket. The main entrance since 2025 is the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum; the old gate at Mena House has been replaced. The Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office.
