What the price covers and where it is silent
The entry price from €88 includes, according to Nice Tours, the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and hotel pickup. The site ticket is officially valued at 700 Egyptian pounds, around €11; the provider covers this amount for you. Nice Tours says nothing about the interiors of the pyramids. What applies at the gate to the Giza Plateau
The main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road between Cairo and Fayoum. The official website lists opening hours from 8 am to 4 pm, an older official source lists 7 am to 5 pm. The ticket office closes one hour before the site closes, and payment is only by card, not cash. Private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau as of 2025. If you don't want to walk, use the electric shuttle, which is included in the admission price and stops at the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, at the Panorama Point, and at the Sphinx. The former gate at Mena House has been replaced; the Sphinx Gate remains open but does not sell tickets.
