What the base price covers and what is officially added
The entry price is €85. Included are hotel pickup in Cairo, accompaniment by a live guide, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Whether the site ticket for the Giza Plateau is included in this price is left open by the provider. Officially it is set at 700 Egyptian pounds, about €11, and is due on the day. The provider does not mention lunch. Ramses Tours is silent about pyramid interiors; the site ticket does not cover them. The Khufu interior costs officially 1,000 EGP, about €16, the Menkaure interior 280 EGP, each in addition to the site ticket.

Rules and Times at the Entrances
At the Giza Plateau, you can only pay by card; the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. Private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau since 2025. The ride on the electric shuttle is included in the admission and connects the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the panoramic point, and the Sphinx. The official website lists the plateau as open from 8 am to 4 pm, while an older official source says 7 am to 5 pm. Since 2025, the main entrance is the Great Gate on the Cairo-Fayoum desert road; the Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office. The Grand Egyptian Museum has been assigning fixed time slots since mid-November 2025; its galleries are open from 9 am to 6 pm, and until 9 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Last entry is also one hour before closing.
