The entry price and the items on the day

Tickets, card payment and shuttle on the plateau
The ticket office at the Giza Plateau closes one hour before the site closes. The official website lists opening hours as 8 am to 4 pm; an older official PDF differs, listing 7 am to 5 pm. Payment at the counter is by card only. Private vehicles have not been allowed on the plateau since 2025; visitors take the electric shuttle or walk. The shuttle is included in the site ticket and stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the panorama point, and the Sphinx. Since mid-November 2025, the Grand Egyptian Museum requires a pre-booked time slot, without which entry is not possible.
Who should come and who shouldn't
The tour is suitable for travelers who want to combine the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Plateau in half a day. It is not suitable if you want to see the inside of a pyramid.
