Price, included services, and official amounts
The entry price is offered from €65. According to the provider, this includes the site ticket for the Giza Plateau, lunch, and hotel pickup in Cairo. The site ticket has an official value of 700 Egyptian pounds, approximately €11; you will not pay this amount again at the ticket office. As for interiors, the provider is silent; neither a Khufu interior nor a Menkaure interior is mentioned in their promises. Officially, the Khufu interior costs 1,000 Egyptian pounds, about €16, to be purchased on site. For the Menkaure interior, 280 Egyptian pounds are officially due, in addition to the site ticket. At the Plateau Entrance and the Museum
At the Giza Plateau, the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. The official website lists opening hours as 8 am to 4 pm, with an official 2020 version saying 7 am to 5 pm. Payment at the counter is card only, no cash. Since 2025, private vehicles are no longer allowed on the plateau; visitors take the electric shuttle, which is included in the site ticket. The shuttle stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. The main entrance since 2025 is the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum; the Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket counter. At the Grand Egyptian Museum, since mid-November 2025, only pre-booked time slots are possible.
Who This Is For and Who It Isn't
This tour is right for you if you don't mind a guided tour with multiple languages and want to cover two major Cairo sights in one day without arranging your own transport. It's not the right choice if you take the term "Private Tour" literally: this offer cannot be booked privately. Also, if you want a guaranteed visit inside a pyramid, you won't get a commitment.
