Rules and opening hours at the entrance
The official website states that the Giza Plateau is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; the ticket office closes one hour before the site closes. An older official source differs, saying 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The site ticket includes the ride on the electric shuttle with stops at Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure, Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. Private vehicles have not been allowed since the reorganization in 2025. Payment at the ticket office is by card only.
