Memphis was the capital of the Old Kingdom; today, an open-air museum stands on its site with the preserved remains of the former metropolis. Twelve of the 252 verified offers around Giza lead here, which corresponds to five percent of the entire inventory. A small, clearly defined group.

Those who search here rarely look for Memphis on its own.
