The entry price from €32 includes the three-hour quad tour, hotel pickup, and a companion; the provider also specifies German as the guide language. Whether the site ticket for the plateau is included in the price is left open; lunch does not appear in the service promise. Officially, the plateau ticket is 700 EGP, about €11; if you want to see the inside of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, you pay officially 1,000 EGP, about €16, and the Pyramid of Menkaure costs 280 EGP inside. What applies at the plateau gate
You reach the plateau through the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum. The current official website states opening hours from 8 am to 4 pm; an official PDF from 2020 states 7 am to 5 pm; the ticket office closes one hour before the gate closes. Payment at the counter is by card only. Private vehicles have not been permitted since the 2025 reorganization; an electric shuttle operates on the plateau, included in the area ticket. It stops at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, the Panorama Point, and the Sphinx. The former gate at Mena House has been replaced; the gate at the Sphinx has no ticket office.
