Price, included tickets, and the option for the pyramid interior
The entry price starts at €35. Included are hotel pickup, a local guide, a German-speaking tour, and the site ticket for the Giza Plateau. Opening hours, card payment, and shuttle at the Giza Plateau
The Giza Plateau opens according to the official website from 8 am to 4 pm; an older official source states 7 am to 5 pm. The ticket office closes one hour before the respective closing time. Payment there is card only; cash is not accepted. Cash remains necessary only for tips and small expenses. Private vehicles have not been allowed since 2025; those who do not walk use the electric shuttle, whose ride is included in the site ticket. The main entrance is the Great Gate on the desert road from Cairo to Fayoum; the Sphinx Gate remains open but has no ticket office.
Not a private tour: The right choice and its alternatives
It suits travelers who can do without a private guide. This tour is not intended as a private booking; a small-group booking is not offered.
